time i learnt a new blues scale

This time i’m just playing the root notes of the chords

and chucked in a jazz practice

    good timing Walley…very important!
keeping it simple on the blues stuff is a good idea too. even just playing the root till you get comfortable and confidant, no use stumbling ahead if you’re not feeling it…keep it up!

Thanks Johnny, i’m at the stage now, where you start practicing a simple tune in all the different major scales without a music sheet.

In terms of the Blues scales, i’ve only worked in Alto G, now i feel more confident to start working in the other Blues scales. Fortunately i have lots of exercises in the G scale, that i can transfer into the rest of the blues scales, as the exercises work in scale numbers (1 to 7) instead of letters (A to G#).

Also doing uploads gives more incentive to play better.
