      Hi Johnny,

I’m interested in playing Baker Street as a duet with my son. It would be very similar to your video; my son playing the sax line and guitar solo on an Alto, and I’ll come in on the melody on a Tenor. Given that your recent update puts the Tenor sheet music in C as opposed to the original/Alto in D, I’m assuming that it won’t work well for us to play our parts in different keys.

So it sounds like we both need to play off of the sheet music in D. In order to make it sound right, do I need to transpose the Alto melody down for the Tenor?

Thanks for any insight you can share!

Great idea Rob. Download both the new/updated Eb and Bb charts and the backing trqck.
Your son will play his part from the Eb chart and you’ll play your part from the Bb chart.
there’s no need to transpose anything, it’ll all work out as long as you’re reading from the updated charts and hplaying to the updtaed backing track.
the previous backing track will be in a different key so won’t work.

That makes it easy! We’ll give it a try. Thanks!
