      Hey guys,
Thought you might like to see this cool interview with Big Jay Mcneely..talk about a legend on the Sax 🙂 I can’t help but notice how virtually all of these pro-level Sax players talk about Selmer Saxophones. Kind of makes you wonder if, maybe, Selmer Saxophones–especially the Mark 6–is the best Sax that was ever made? I’ve heard stories of how some players who were endorsed by Yamaha would pull out the Selmer when it was time to record LOL Now days, there’s just so many top-of-the-line Saxophones out there that Selmer didn’t have to compete with in those early days. I would LOVE to have a Selmer Mark 6…WOW. But the price tag for the average Selmer Mark 6 is anywhere between $8,000 and $10,000! I’ve seen some selling for as much as $12,000……with family obligations, everyday living, etc., who can afford that nowadays? At that price, I think I’ll be sticking with my Trevor James Saxophones for quite some time to come…terrific Saxophones for the price to say the least 🙂
