Heavy going these documentaries….no disrespect intended, it’s like reading autobiographies – i have to be a genuine fan of a person to take time out to read their autobiography.

thanks Leo, the sax recording took 3 takes, while the clarinet took over 15 takes, in the end i got tired and just uploaded the last clarinet take. It’s time to work on something new.

Yes – my music teacher taught me to play every music sheet exactly as written.

1st of all learn to play the sheet first with a metronome.
2nd then and only then start practicing the sheet with a backing track.
3rd (optional) if you have time, learn to play it without a sheet along side the backing track.

wow – i only got 5 questions right.

I played acoustic guitar from age 15 to age 56, from age 56 i started playing saxophone.
i never listened to sax players, i only used to listen to bands, and like ringo starr, i never listened to any musicians and tried to copy their style.
So my knowledge of guitar players and sax players unfortunately is zilch.

the forums seem very quiet?
i’m still not ready to upload yet, still practicing the same tune.

the beatles were influenced by Bach, so i found a bach piano tune, and it does show up
