      Never played a lakey for tenor. I have one for alto and it’s alright. Are you looking for a hard rubber or a metal piece?

        It would be metal…but after looking into what happened, it was discovered that they sent me the wrong MP, must have been some kind of mix up. I was wondering what in the world happened; this was by no means a Custom MBII for Tenor. I have one for the Alto and I know how good they are. This one I got today is going back to them tomorrow…it apparently belongs to someone else. They have my MBII at the shop; it never got sent out. How that happened I have no idea.

            Yes, it was weird. My Guardala Studio has a tip opening of .118″. This thing that arrived today was WAY too flat and I got to looking, it had a tip opening of .115″–just from playing one note and I noticed how flat it was immediately. Even the Hard Rubber MP that came with my Tenor had more edge and punch than this thing did….put some punch and meat on the thing for goodness sake.
