one interesting thing that came to my attention.
The acoustics of the room was such that we had to alter
the articulation of some of our sheet music to get it to
sound correct!

i had the opportunity to play in it when no one was in it,
and a soft staccato note – i could hear it going round the room milliseconds after playing it. The softest note could be heard all
over the room such was the accoustics, the conductor told us the
accoustics would change when it filled with guests, which could
result again in having to articulate differently!
