Welcome Marc…I’m new on here myself. I play alto but had my eyes and ears on the Yamaha yts-875exb tenor. Which Yamaha tenor did you get? It appears to be black lacquer.
Hi, Ken… and thanks for your welcome. It’s a standard YTS-23, gold laquered. I assume the lighting (or lack thereof) on the pic made the effect that seems to be a dark horn. I used to have a YAS-23 as well, but only played it a couple of times… I passed it along to my daughter, who showed little interest in wind instuments and eventually sold it away a couple of years ago.
