The place you see in the pics below is of a restaurant that is opening downtown in a few weeks. The owner is the older woman in the middle of the picture with everyone else who goes by the name of ‘Gi-Gi- and performed as a vocalist from the 1940s-1960s with some big names; she’s very ‘low-key’ about the people she has performed with. She asked me if I would come to her place and play some old-school blues/rock. It’s a little intimidating, but sometimes we just have to know when to go for it. What’s the worst thing that can happen, not ask me to come back; right? In any case it will be fun.
