The problem with rolled tone holes IMO they are more difficult to fix,
and for pads to seal and that is what we are after really.

There seems to be many opposing views of rolled tone holes. But the Keilwerth SX90R sure sounds nice. So does the P. Mauriat 66R

The SX90R is not as good as the SX90 which I have, the sx90 as the drawn tone holes.
I am selling this at the moment, had it about 19years now, bought from new.

Pete- I guess the SX90R has a separate rolled piece that fits on the hole.

              Hi MEL
Not sure it is either a soldered rolled tone hole or a drawn tone hole
“pressed over” if you know what I mean.

Pete- Are you or did you get another saxophone? How did you like your Keilwerth? Some big names like that Black Nickel Keilwerth. Sorry couldn’t get to your picture.

if i has a choice it would have to be a drawn rolled tone hole , , i have a YTS 875 ex and it has regular drawn tone holes, works fine
