You must spend a lot of time with your sax. Make sure that time is well spent though!

The key things are your embouchure, and proper air support from your stomach. There is a section in the lessons which deals with these called “Tone Development” which you will find here: https://howtoplaysaxophone.org/tone-development

Hi Oloruntoba, welcome here! There are some free video lessons to get you started. You didn’t mention what level you are at but there is even very beginners lesson on putting your sax together to getting your first sounds and of course more advanced lessons such as improving your tone and technique.

I have produced two books so far, for total beginners there is one called “So You’ve Got a Saxophone – Now What?” more info here:
          https://howtoplaysaxophone.org/quick-start-guide-info

Is very inexpensive on Amazon, which happens to be available for a free download today, Saturday Nov 3, and Sunday Nov 4. If you miss this it will cost $4.99.

If you are more experienced and are looking for a method to learn improvisation in blues and rock/pop music then look into “How To Play Killer Blues & Rockin’ Sax Solos With 7 Notes Or Less” the info page is here:
