      Welcome Brian, sounds good as you already have some other musical instrument experience. The sax fingering you will get quickly but you will need some time to develop your embouchure and tone. There are some lessons to help you with these things in the beginners section.

        hello, so far I’m enjoying the sax I would like to know if the silencer is effective. secondly if I could get you song can’t help falling in love with you. I want it to be my first song. the lessons are fun and easy to learn. thank you very much

          the silencer is just a little bit effective, it’s not like the mute on a trumpet which is very effective.
          As for the songs, just go to the “saxophone music” section and you’ll see the entire list.

            sorry but I have so many questions. which keys would you recommend I begin with as also work on my embouchure and breathing

              That’s ok. Like I said, start at the beginners section. I don’t know where you’re at but if you start there and continue through as the lessons progress it will take you to where you need to go. I think the first fingering lessons are on C major scale then D.
              Fingering is just one part of it. You will also be spending time on your embouchure and breathing.

                I’m really enjoying the sax and something quite interesting is that I have learnt to play a chorus of one of my favorite church music even before mastering the fingering techniques. I hope this is not a bad thing.

                I played cant help falling in love with you to my friends and i must say it really encouraged me to get to know how to play it so i would wish if you could sent me the fingering chat i try it out. I’m also concentrating so much on my embouchure and everyday

                I have also encouraged my music teacher to join this place since she also loves the sax. Its so encouraging to read how people started and where they are today. Thank you all and I hope we are in this journey all the way and hope that we will meet one day. Oh and welcome to Nairobi, Kenya
