that’s because Caiola was pretty much just a studio session musician. we’ve all heard his playing on many hit songs but he didn’t do much as a leader like Curtis did….this was just 2 session guys laying one down!
That is amazing…makes me wanna go get a custom track made for this one and play it. Better yet, I’m thinking I can show this to my guitar friend Nathan whom you’ve seen on a video here before and see what he and I can come up with together, this is just one of those songs that I simply have to do. Nice thing about what King Curtis is doing here is that he’s keeping the licks/riffs pretty simple, seems like that’s always the best approach.
