      I think with those 2 horns you are splitting hairs. Do you have access to play tyhem? If so try them and you’ll know for yourself. If you don’t have access either one will be great. The major difference in your sound will depend on you and your other equiptment like mp and reeds not so much on either of these 2 saxes.

        Yeehaw! I finally committed and can now stop looking endlessly at the classifieds and get on with growing (and growling!) with my new sax. Now the proud owner of a Yani Tenor 990 of mid 90 ‘s era. Have really lost the practice edge since having to play the hired Jupiter. Horrible. Don’t even know why students would play these as they might be turned off early….anyway, like a proud father I will upload some picks and a blog as soon as I can.

          That’s def exciting news. Scouring classifieds gets old for sure. Such a relief when you find THE SAX!!!! Congrats!!
