I moved my mic all around the room and adjusted the preamp many times

hard to say William, out of the barrel?
personally I put my mic a foot or 2 highr than my bell then point it down slightly so it’s directed at it. then I stand about3 to 5 feet away depending on how much preamp I add.

Being that I’m in a concrete and Brick bunker I found this to be best place for my microphone. My sound is better so I’m on my way to a better sound.
