JB: Try doing double or triple tongue on your scale notes? I saw a lesson on this some time ago. May help? I think? I’m old,72 and may not make it? LOL

Thanks for the Tip Tim!
I shall have a go at double and triple tonguing – i think i can just about do
double tonguing (daga daga daga) the triple tonguing (tikiti tikiti) seems a
bit harder.
