        [Verse 1]
Let me tell you about a place
Somewhere up a New York way
Where the people are so gay
        Twisting the night away
Here they have a lot of fun
        Putting trouble on the run
Man, you find the old and young
        Twisting the night away

        [Chorus]
        They’re twistin’, twistin’
        Everybody’s feeling great
        They’re twistin’, twistin’
        They’re twistin’ the night away

        [Verse 2]
Here’s a man in evening clothes
How he got here, I don’t know, but
Man, you oughta see him go
        Twisting the night away
He’s dancing with a chick in slacks
        She’s moving up and back
Oh, man, there ain’t nothing like
        Twisting the night away

        Everybody’s feeling great
        They’re twistin’, twistin’
        They’re twistin’ the night

        [Bridge]
        Let’s twist a while
        Lean up
        Lean back
        Lean up
        Lean back

        Now fly
        Now twist
        They’re twistin’ the night away

        [Verse 3]
Here’s a fella in blue jeans
        Dancing with an older queen
Who’s dolled up in her diamond rings and

        They’re twistin’, twistin’, man
        Everybody’s feeling great
        They’re twistin’, twistin’
        They’re twistin’ the night

        [Outro]
        One more time

Recently i saw a yts 23 on FB Marketplace local for a grand. It had been in a case for the last 30 years. Mint it looked. i shoulda swooped on it but felt loyal to the one i have organised to buy allready. Prob needed repadding anyways. I know not what. All the best mate, keep on tootin’.
