I would expand on the scale you’re using…..
the major pentatonic works (usually does for most things) but in this particular tune the minor 3rd (which you hit a couple times) plus the minor 7th. The 7th is a must on this one. so I guess by adding those 2 notes more you’d be playing a full blues scale rather than only the pentatonic, giving you more options.

Thanks for sharing Mike, i’ve recently starting getting into some
jazz, it’s made me more aware of the drums/guitar chord rhythm
changes and shows how difficult it is to slot the sax timing in sync with those two, is quite a task.
