Paddy thanks for the input on the note endings, I agree that I did leave some “space” between phrases that would have flowed better with that little extra duration per your suggestion. Thanks for the beneficial feedback.
The Blues are fun to learn, but as James shared it is challenging and for me a little frustrating to have to play some riffs that you may have practiced individually in practicing but when it’s time to play them and connect them it doesn’t come out as planned. Sometimes it is a pleasant surprise what inspiration resulted, or mistake that turned out to be something useful, and other times it is “whoops”…
