For me that would be a spread sound because it’s big with reverberation from the hallway acoustics. A focused sound would be more contained and dry.
I think people talk about these two types of sounds even when not including the surrounding acoustical influences though. Like the type of sound a certain mouthpiece can give you over another type…in this sense these differences can be very subjective.
