Kansas City Saxophone Music

Written by the very successful songwriting team Leiber and Stoller in 1952. They wrote huge hits like Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, Spanish Harlem, Stand by me with Ben E King and many of the Coaster’s hits such as Charlie Brown and Yakety yak.

Recorded by so many different artists but the biggest hit was in 1959 by Wilbert Harrison. Also a little later by the great Fats Domino.

Song Key

This saxophone version is in the key of C major.  That means the Bb sax music chart is in D major and the Eb sax music chart is in A major.
