ultimately we want to be flexible in all scale yes. but, for learning these improv concepts you ‘re better off to spend time mastering the complete modes and scales in one key at a time. I used to work on one a day.

Johnny – thsnks for the feedback!

I Don’t intend to look at the
next lesson until i’m at ease
with the 1st one – and having only
20 to 30 mins available to do it
in a day, i’ll have to spread it
over several weeks. So by asking you now, your replies will be very
useful, as you already know what
will be covered in later lessons.

I already spend 90 mins a day practicing scales arpeggios &
        long tones with a metronome.
It just never occured to me that
i could go up and down these scales to the correct scale backing track like in leaaon
one as an alternative to the
        metronome!

for me, that’s a way better option to the metronome… steady time but way more fun because it’s like practising with a band.

Hi Johnny – i bought this course last year, but recently i switched from Pc to apple mac pro, and in moving all my files i’ve lost the link to your major improvisation course. Can you e-mail me the link again please?
            thanks.

I just started being taught the blues by my teacher, working on the basic blues + using your killer blues as well, but as the major scale course is closely related, i now want to include that at the same time.

Ultimate goal is to move from the blues into rock n roll..
