ya, don’t like the v16, they are just harder outta the box. the java are good to go….but I only get one or 2 that are good outta the 5.
the rest I thro out so tends to get expensive.
was considering the Javas they are little cheaper than the V16 1.5, but love the V16s, never really had to many bad, but i am not as advanced as you, so i don’t notice the bad ones, or have been lucky, the light test shows some great even grains
i did like the Javas, it suits well on my Ben Allen, but the V16z work on my Woodstone,so i will use those, the Java green 2 is a very flexible reed, i like it
