        HI Johnny
bit of an update -Sax has arrived 🙂 real excitement for me but not so for you guys im guessing ,due to budget restraints family bills etc.
it had to be a second hand one .
trawling the net and forums some names were repeated over for a beginners sax how ever some of these were out of price range and impatience was growing and after repeated searches on various sites i found one i liked and at a price i could justify
        i pressed the buy button
i ended up with a Trevor James Classic and case with Yamaha 4C mouth piece and some rico royal reads ?

opened the case trying to remember the how to handle your Sax video but enthusiasm got the better of me and all went to poop as i eagerly assembled it

first few goes resulted in nothing more than air blowing down a tube dohhhhh
few more attempts later and some noises were emanating but nothing resembling any from the musical family

so had to put it away as it was later after work

tonight i had another go and a much better result i did manage to almost produce some sounds that were musical—-ish 😛
however finding the right position for my mouth and lips ……not so good bottom lip is quite sore now ,im guessing im pressing to hard ?

but will go over your video and practice
thought i would share these thoughts as im sure there are some similarity’s to others first try with the sax

        kindest regards
        Graham

Congrats Graham! Trevor James is a very nice horn indeed. My friend is distributor here in Canada and so I’ve tried a couple already.
Keep rockin with the lesson videos for a while, you’ll get there.
