        Thanks Johnny, Yeah I tried a preset that included some hall reverb and tape echo, I had to tone the intensity way down. Lol, probably not enough.

          no I like it, think it suits that song anyway….sometimes not but there it sounds good. But on effects like reverb and echo less is usually better otherwise the listener ends up focusing on that instead of our playing!

            Agreed, I’ve got a few friends who will post their “smooth jazz”, nothing wrong with smooth jazz – I lived listening to Grover, recordings on FB and the reverb is really hideous. They’re good players but I have a hard time hearing the definition of their melody and solo lines. Something odd though, when I record I’ll sometimes not hear a lot of reverb but when I bounce everything to an MP3 it’s way too much.
