No I’m not selling the winslows, was gonna order a new one and wanted to get one for anyone else who wanted one but winslow has no inventory at the moment so just gonna wait it out. I took the link down but will stay in touch with him and hopefully put in an order when they are ready.

Oh no!! Not only do Saxophone players constantly change mouthpieces and reeds, but they also change out their “Ligs” (Ligatures, I guess you mean) on a regular basis TOO?!

Do they (I’m a rookie, with absolutely no knowledge or history with the Saxophone) wear out?

If nothing else, I’ve learned lately how much attention apparently needs to be placed in “maintaining” the Saxophone. Unlike my “guitar” world, where all you really need to do is change out the strings, keep it clean and away from humidity.

How much money do you figure the average typical regular-user Saxophone player puts out in maintenance fees for parts and repairs, in a year?????

No Soupy, you’re getting off track!
I’ve had my ligature (same one) for 25 years and I’m a full time professional.
Many years go by that I don’t spend anything on repairs.
Typical repairs are not expensive; replacing a few worn pads, rod adjustments.
