I need to record louder without clipping. l think I need help with headroom. I say this because my wife thinks I’m very loud. When I listen to you Johnny, I imagine your much louder. Rock n Roll.

ya Randy I didn’t mean getting your sax louder in the mix (headroom) I meant your sax tone sounds a bit boxed in. You can get it bigger by practicing louder everyday….yes when I do my videos it’s very loud in my room….if there’s someone helping me with the camera or whatever they either leave or plug their ears!

The backing track is from: https://www.karaoke-version.com/custombackingtrack/etta-james/at-last.html

That website lets you buy all the tracks with voice and without voice for like three bucks. It is a great deal. I had to create my own music though.

alrighty then Johnny. I can get very loud if I want to. I guess I thought the song sounded sweeter with Dynamics. My jjdv7 mp will get very loud. I play in church with the choir. I have to always focus on not over shining their singing. lol

Hi Johnny, so I keep listening to players say you should not fold your bottom lip under and say eeee instead of ahhhh. Suposedly, this will help give you a bigger sound.
                        Any thoughts on that one?
