What is the best fingerings for the gliss to make it a bit easier? The first note in night train to which note does the gliss go down.

always work chromatically. practise the chromatic scales every day, this will make glissandos possible.

Thanks so, SO much Johnny for your lesson in particular on Chromatic Scales…..it’s one of my very favorite lessons of your’s and the gains to be made are HUGE to say the least in more ways than just one 🙂 My practice sessions are so, so much better when practicing this exercise; so I’ve had to make sure that I include it as part of my everyday routine….I know I’m guilty of being “lazy” sometimes when I didn’t feel like doing it and that was a big mistake!

I start getting the hang of the chromatic scale and enjoy practicing it. I like the lesson on the chromatic glissando too. Thanks Johnny 🙂
