Hi saxjohnny (or anybody) I’m wondering if you have listened to Own Way To Rock (Burton Cummings) and know the chord progressions. I’m trying to emulate the opening horn lines on tenor sax. I believe the song is done in concert C and so far I’ve got D# C# C and A, or at least that is what it sounds like to me.With those notes it doesn’t fit a D7, D Blues or D pentatonic. Comments?
