      I also favor the fat boy. I find the MBI mouthpiece takes a lot of wind. So I rearranged my music room. Do you ever use two mikes. I have a clip on condenser mike on order from Sweetwater. i was told by sweetwater to turn on the phantom power on my Pre Amp and turn off the phantom power on my audient 14 interface so I did.House members have me practice the sax for an hour a day.         No. I use my condenser mic usually about 2 feet away on a mic stand from me which is phantom powered through my audio interface. It’s an Akg 220. I use a Mac with reaper software for mixing. Took a little bit but now I have my settings saved so I’m always the same and can make small tweeks as needed.
