      😎 Hey Johnny,

Was working on the lessons today in Killer blues and was wondering do you recommend, after working and really learning well the first 3 lessons regarding the blues scale, pentatonic major and minor scales–do you recommend I make use of the backing tracks at the end of the book and apply what I’ve learned from these first 3 lessons by creating my own licks BEFORE going on any further in the course, or did you write it in a way that it’s better to go through the whole book first, and then go back later and start creating my own Improvisation/licks? I’m really getting A LOT out of this stuff already and you explain it in a way that’s very easy to understand.

No you don’t need to wait to experiment with the tracks. as you are learning the scales etc start to play them along with your own variations as soon as you feel comfortable doing so.
