A big thanks to saxjohnny putting up a Love forum likethis
What is my first step to becoming a saxophone player?
give us some information like where are you at with your playing etc.
which make or model is it?
Okay, i am absolutely a beginner, but i can do the fingering correctly and play some simple song on it. That is what I’m not convenient with, i want to be able to play every piece of music note i lay my hands on perfectly.
I have a fender alto sax with serial number 0920207. my elder brother bought it for me
very good. you must learn all the notes from low Bb to high F.
but not only learn the notes, become smooth and confident with each passing note. practise the 2 1/2 octave (low Bb to hi F) playing semi tones for at least an hour each day…Bb, B, C, C#, D, D#, E etc all the way to high F, then come back down.
each time you stop or make a mistake, go up 2 or 3 notes and continue until it goes smooth
I have problem purchasing your instruction e-book, PayPal decline my payment, i also tried using Amazon, the payment was reversed later the day i made payment. How do I get this book?
Also i only know how to place the fingers from low C upward, can you help me out with the fingering direction?
