Yesterday a friend asked if I could teach her how to play the piano. Now I can’t read music to save my life but I’m good with theory and makin up melodies along with comping chords and all that good stuff. So I taught her the basic circle of fifths, the basic chords, and how they’re all related within each key. It’s just really fun! Who knows if they understand it as of now, but they hopefully will eventually. Teachings also a really good way to learn more stuff yourself, and I’m always learning new stuff as well! I would love to be a music teacher!
