@Jeff – once you use a mac you’ll never go back to a pc. i used to use office software – word/excell, but rarely use it nowadays. so i csn’t justify buying it for the mac.

If you know someone doing a degree in university, get them to order a mac pro for you, snd save 20% and put that towards getting logic pro.

Jeff if you get a mac computer I would advise you also buy Apple Care along with the mac.
