changing pitch with the tongue –
Say the word “heel” – this puts your tongue in a high position
Say the word “pool” – this puts your tongue in a low position
Now alternate between saying “heel” & “pool” – notice how the tongue alternatives
between high and low positions.
Now play a high E on the sax – alternating between these two tongue positions and notice how you can change the pitch of the high e
