Hello. My tenor has developed a warble. it only happens occasionaly and started after i tried a new mouthpiece which trimmed of a lottle cork due to cork gone hard. The cork was greased well but it was old. the warbling started after that. It only happens on certain occasions and not on a specific note but more often on the low ones.. I tried my spare crane and the warbling ceased so the problem appears to be with the crane. i’ve since had the cork replaced but the problem remains even though the “resistance” i noticed before seems to have gone. I’ve tried different mouthpieces and reeds. The problem seems to be located on the crane. Any ideas?

      Thank you

What are you reffering to when you say “crane”? I’ve never heard that term but can only assume you mean the neck. If so you gotta get a new one, unless you can see any soldered areas that have become loose and a repair guy can re-solder it.
