Eyup Jak hope it’s going well for you mate.
Man I tell you Guitarists have it soooo easy with strings lol. Just been playing, using a 1.5 Vandoren Blue, I sounded like a farting Frog!! checked the Reed, looks great, still sound chronic, take reed off, put back in exactly same place–perfect!!! these things have a mind of their own. If Guitarists had to put up with this they’d be having hissy fits every ten minutes.
Thanks Jeff I will give it a look.
Was pleased to meet you mate, and thank you for the offer of the correct TJ/mp. Don;t know how to pm you so here’s my e-mail. I think the guys on here are cool so no worries about putting up folks. carlthekhan@hushmail.com
Love & Happiness man.
I don’t believe the Key for the relevant chord changes are shown Brother Cavefish, but the accompanying video lesson may mention it, Johnny would know for definite. For a total novice at Saxophone, this course has helped enormously, and has got me playing basic 3 chord Blues progressions. I’m still on the first lesson, but to be honest there’s so much relevant content here that you could use it over dozens of songs.
I’m loving it Johnny, can’t wait to get up and practice mate. Looking forward to being able to play some of those guitar licks I know on the Sax, might even start notating them.
No, no marks or anything mate, it was secondhand though (the sax). I will take picture and try to upload.
This means the MP on my TJ classic is not the one it came supplied with, as mine has no marks, seems to work ok though.
Actually that’s a good point Jak, does the Trevor James MPC have any distinguishing marks as the one with mine has none.
Mines the laquered finish–very shiny–have to play it with shades on it’s so bright lol. Don’t know what mouthpiece it is Jak probably the Trevor James one that comes with the Sax.
