Pink Panther Saxophone Music
Henry Mancini composed this music as the theme for the 1963 movie The Pink Panther. The tenor saxophonist on the session was Plas Johnson.
Plas was a very busy studio session player as one of the “Wrecking Crew”. this was a group of musicians that played on virtually every pop record during the 1960’s as they were favored by the biggest producers of the time.
Song Key
This arrangement is in the same key as the original Mancini recording which is E minor. This makes it F# minor for the Bb saxophones and C# minor for the Eb saxes.
