This very old and classic song, Silent night was written in the early 1800’s and is one of our most popular and beloved Christmas and holiday classic songs.

The perfect song for a family at Christmas eve due to it’s special lyrics and lullaby style melodic phrasing. In fact, this song was first performed on such a night way back in 1818 in a church service in Austria. It has been translated into about 140 different languages. Today you can learn it on your saxophone!

This version is very easy and good for any beginning saxophone player and one that should be in everyone’s holiday song list.

The music charts available for download here are written in the concert key of F major. That puts the tenor and b flat saxophones in the key of G major and the alto and E flat saxes in the key of D major.
