Thanks everyone. it’s a fun tune, and I listened to a couple versions by Gato and realized he changes it up nearly everytime he plays it, so that took a lot of the self imposed pressure off. 😉

currently doing a lot of classical stuff, if i could play it, for me from
a classical angle i would slow the sax down a touch, up the dynamics and
in my head i hear a tenor singer really working the emotions.
