I’m very new to the sax playing world, but picking it up reasonably ok.
I hope I’m in the right place to be asking this, but ie just managed to successfully create that raunchy flutter tongue sound while learning ‘Brown sugar’ from Johnny. (Thanks Johnny)
The problem is rolling the tongue while my top teeth touch the mouth piece. I can’t do it that way, which means my high notes are not successful now.

PS I’ve been learning for about 3 or 4 months now through Johnny’s beginner lessons.
Any extra tips will be welcomed for me to be able roll my tongue correctly, I currently have my top lip curled over my teeth slightly and the mouthpiece slightly further out.
