I have just started sax lessons with a borrowed alto saxophone. Will see what I can in a year or so before I get my own.
Fingering and breathing give me some trouble now a days. They said my lips will feel itchy but it is the thumb (of the right hand) that has pain now. I will pursue playing the low C – "DO" (pronounced 'dough') in my language- (and the other primary notes) despite the pain though.
