      HI from Cardiff Wales, just joined Johnny's website – I've got lots to learn! I play in a sixties soul band and am trying to capture that elusive 50's, 60's sound- growling, honking, screaming, so looking for any advice.
      I've recently bought a P Mauriat 66R tenor, using with a Jody Jazz NY m/piece using rico 2 and half reeds. looking forward to being part of this site. – Pete

        Hi Pete and welcome!
        Your band sounds like a blast. There is a lesson on growling here and similar stuff on the way as my time permits.
