Hi there everybody great to be here, I have just started to play the sax today. Luckely I have played the flute for many years and I can read music. I can play guitar and piano. No time for something new, i managed to get sound, the blowing is okay, I felt that if you blow to softly one gets a distorted sound but with a firm blow you get what it’s suppose to be.
I am a artist I paint pet-portraits,wildlife,animals and landscapes if you want to have a look http://www.marqueritte.nl.
Well I will be seeing you around
    Keep on blowing.

Cool, the obvious request is “Can you paint a gorilla playing a sax?”
Yes, blow it loud and strong at the start, down from deep within the diaphragm, that’s where it’s at for sax. A common mistake is blowing soft from the throat which will never amount to a big beautiful tone.

      Good luck
      Johnny
