My question is this: Late Last year I bought the Beginners book and the Blues book. Unfort to my shame I put it down and have not got back to it because I really needed to at this time have lessons with a teacher at first. I just needed that structure, Anyway , I am back. Is there any difference on these books from when I purchased them last year? If there is I am reaqdy to start over on them? Any thoughts would be great; Vinny

Yes Vinny they are totally different.
The Killer Blues is for learning how to improvise using blues scales and exercises.
My other book is for how to learn tho play the saxophone starting from the beginning.
If you’re just learning the sax start with the beginner’s book.
If you like blues and rock style music you will probably get to the other book down the road after you have a better grasp on playing your saxophone.
