Hello from düsseldorf Germany

Hi,
i´m Ralf, a Harmonicaplayer from Düsseldorf Germany and after a long long time i restarted to play Saxophone again.
When i was 29 i started with Alto, but i just played by ear without teacher. I was playing for 2 Years then i stopped and started to play Bluesharmonica only and i´m a Teacher for in Düsseldorf for over 15 Years now. Then i meet an old Friend and he is playing Saxophone, when i was touching and playing it, my old Love for the Sax come back ….noiw i´m playing a Tenorsaxophone too. I bought the book from Johnny and realised, alot of stuff is the same like with the Bluesharp… sometimes different but scales breathing phrasing …all the same. That helps me alot to know ….

Your English is very good! The transition from harp to sax, especially for blues makes a lot of sense and should be a good experience for you. I have talked here to another guy who did the same thing.
