Hi all!
My name is Håkan and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I've had my first saxophone for less than 2 weeks, so I'm really a beginner. I consider myself a musical person because I played piano since I was 5 years old, and I played as a session musician in a band since the beginning of the 80,s but then as a keyboarrd player.
I want to learn to play the saxophone because, it is a beautiful instrument. I think that's the instrument that comes closest to the human voice. But for a beginner I found out it's a instrument that really can sound awful before you master your embouchure, which for a such short time I have not done yet.
I will come back with questions about embouchure shortly.
BTW this is a really good site to learn how to play the saxophone, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
