Hi its me old George, well I say old I'm only 62yrs and yet look about 42.
Any way I started playing sax about a year ago on alto then tenor a Chinese
Walstein and now a System 54. I love this instrument the sax is no easy option
and I dont think I will ever be really able to play but the amount of pleasure
I get from playing is well worth the effort.
This is a great site Johnny, I have just finished basic Jazz 1 by Lennie Niehaus
and my music teacher has started me on the blues so I cant believe my luck finding
your site and your lesson the blues in C. It would be even better if I had the dots
for the licks, ye I know its impro just humor an old man Johnny.
OK I'm off to practice I need all the help I can get.
      thanks again

George, don't you know? 62's the new 42!
Glad to see you going for it. As far as writing out some of the licks I play, ya sure I'm not against it, just haven't had the time. I wanted to give everybody a starting point where to begin learning to improvise.

What I may do upcoming, is do a lesson video on a few quick and easy licks that I play and possibly write them out for those who can read… maybe this will help some people.
