    Hi Johnny,
    First of all thank you for your valuable lessons and partitions.
    I have a question on Mordent lesson as I’m not sure to well understand all your comments on video.
    I’m on E flat chart (alto) and understand :
    – on Bar 7 : sequence is (F sharp G sharp F Sharp) instead of written F sharp, and then E
    – on bar 11 :(C sharp D sharp C sharp) instead of written C sharp then B, mordent sequence beginning on the third beat of the bar.
    Hope I’m clear !

      The Mordent reminds me of the “Turn” e.g the quarter note “F” followed by four 32nd notes gfef

        Yes Christian, that’s exactly right.

          @William, very true. the mordent is even more basic than the turn…but still really effective
