      Good for you Ian–the key of E seems to be really popular with guitar players, not sure why, but that means for Tenor we got to deal with the key of F# like you said and those “pesky” sharp notes LOL But regardless of what key your band is playing in, the lessons Johnny covers in Killer Blues will give you that ability to play with them….and that’s the good stuff! 🙂 My favorite exercise in the whole book is probably the Pentatonic Minor Scale; very smooth and “bluesy” When I get back home next month I’ll start working on the solo to Brown Sugar–it’s cool how Johnny breaks down that solo because there’s so much in that one solo that we can use in so many situations in our own Improvising 🙂
