Today I sat in my pit and recorded my sax and added a solo part. Not too bad so as time goes by I might post it. I also ordered a new neck strap from https://justjoessaxgelstrap.com

Just don’t use a plastic hook – i was playing the sax in a lesson and the sax fell on the floor and bent the bell and the lower pads.

The locking mechanism on the plastic hook was loose with age and opened up while i was moving about playing. the sax dropped so fast i didn’t have time to catch it, luckily it didn’t fall on my foot.

Been using this strap for a few years. A little pricey but takes the weight away from the neck. Takes a little bit to shape it right. I believe Jack from Boston Sax Shop has a video for that. For me it has been a great investment.
